Mgr. Viktor Rytikov
Mgr. Viktor Rytikov is partner and managing director of the firm. In 2006 he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. Until 2007 he worked as a junior lawyer in an Ostrava law firm and afterwards in the Prague law firm Procházka Randl Kubr, now PRK Partners. In 2010 he successfully passed the Bar Exam and was registered in the list of the Czech Bar Association as a lawyer. From 2007 to 2015 he practiced law in the Law Firm Brož & Sokol & Novák s.r.o., first as a junior lawyer and after passing the Bar Exam as a lawyer focusing on criminal law, foreign law and civil law.
He provides legal services in Czech language, as well as in Russian language. In addition to Czech and Russian language, he also speaks English. Mgr. Rytikov is a russian speaking attorney, which allows direct conversation in Russian with clients from former USSR States. Not only he guarantees complete language understanding from clients perspective, but also he can perform thorough inspection of translation done by interpreter at court or other state authorities.
In his practice Mgr. Viktor Rytikov focuses in particular on defence in criminal proceedings, representation in civil court proceedings, arbitration proceedings, civil law, commercial law and foreign law pursuant to the Aliens Act in the Czech Republic.
Renowned magazine Global Law Experts 2017 ranked Mgr. Viktor Rytikov as an expert on immigration law.
In 2007 Mgr. Viktor Rytikov was appointed by the Regional Court in Ostrava as a court interpreter in Russian pursuant to Act No. 36/1967 Coll.
Since 2013 he has acted as one of the representatives of the Czech Bar Association, who are required by law to oversee police inspections of law firms.
Since 2012 he has been registered on the special list of arbitrators maintained by the Ministry of Justice pursuant to Act No. 216/1994 Coll., who can be appointed by arbitration clause to arbitrate disputes from consumer contracts.
JUDr. Pavel Utěšený
JUDr. Pavel Utěšený is partner and managing director of the firm. In 1999 he graduated from Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. Until 2005 he worked in the Brno law firm, first as a junior lawyer, and from 2004, after successfully passing the Bar Exam, also as a lawyer. From 2005 to 2015 he practiced law in the Law Firm Brož & Sokol & Novák s.r.o., as a lawyer and subsequently as a senior lawyer focusing on civil law and commercial law (including litigation in these areas of law), European Union law and competition law.
In his practice JUDr. Pavel Utěšený focuses in particular on representation in civil court proceedings, arbitration proceedings, civil law and commercial law, competition law including public procurement law and public support law, intellectual property law and European Union law.
Between 2006 and 2010 he was a member of the Czech Bar Association Section of Private Law and was a member of the Czech Association for Competition Law.
Since 2012 he has been on the special list of arbitrators maintained by the Ministry of Justice pursuant to Act No. 216/1994 Coll., who can be appointed by arbitration clause to arbitrate disputes from consumer contracts. He is also an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic.
JUDr. Pavel Utěšený publishes in professional journals (Legal Perspectives, Judicial Perspectives, Legal Advisor, Bulletin Advocacy, Economist, Euro and epravo.cz) and is the author of the book Market Power and Intellectual Property in European Competition Law, published by C.H. Beck in 2005.
